Digital Music Rights for Performers
Recent events have prompted British Ice Skating (BIS) to ensure all music used in competitions run by BIS must be licensed appropriately. This means that in order to compete and not be at risk the music you choose and edit in any way must be consented to by the artist or their respective recording label/publishing house. BIS recommends Click'n'Clear. For more information on copyright and fair use of copyrighted music see the CPDA 1988 Section 16, 19, 21, 28B and and this information on BIS's website.
I have completed the digital rights in music course from BIS and therefore can offer to cut, edit and ensure license compliance for your music.
If you do not plan to compete in BIS competitions, or do not plan to upload your performance with music on a public site and the cut is simple in nature you may choose the Basic cutting options*.
*Disclaimer: You pay for the service to cut the music not the rights to the track itself - that remains with the artist.

Basic Cut
A standard cut of 1 track to any length.

Basic Edit
If a previously edited Basic Cut needs to be made longer e.g. by 30 seconds or otherwise changed.

Upgrade from Basic to Complex*
Use this if a Basic Cut I have previously done needs to be upgraded to a complex cut.

Complex Cut*
A more complex cut with the merging of 2 or more tracks or the addition of sound effects and for use in BIS competitions or uploading to the internet.

Complex Edit*
If a previously edited Complex Cut needs to be edited in anyway.

National Competition Music Information
If you compete in a national competition and need to submit your music digitally, I can find the relevant ISWC, artist etc. codes.

For entries with a * this cost does not include the cost of the license this is done on a per track basis at a price set by Click'n'Clear (Generally ~£30).
N.B. Any license granted must be renewed every year.
